Each tick activates a rotating team-sized cohort. People with no experience appear as newcomers; experienced people return as incumbents, sometimes bringing a previous collaborator back into the room.
The network remembers how ties were formed: blue links are newcomer pairs, green links mix newcomers and incumbents, yellow links are incumbent pairs, and red links mark repeated collaboration. Inactive people eventually retire.
